Hi, I'm Steve Kizer

I've worked as a graphic designer for over a decade and have maintained a number of freelance clients and projects, as well as serving as a graphic designer for a newsletter publishing company—evolving from junior designer to art director. Industry pressures continually lead to the discovery of methods of doing more with less, allowing me to explore innovations to production processes.

I view graphic design as a mode of problem solving and have long held the belief that good design is intuitive and virtually invisible—acknowledging that the ultimate goal of design is to convey information seamlessly and without distraction.

I also enjoy creating fine art. I have exhibited work in local businesses and galleries. One idea that really excites me is creating large scale, public art. I have participated in a few storefront art displays, and look forward to installing more mural work.

Life is a learning experience, and I strive to remain open to its many lessons. I live in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia with my wife and two children—keeping us busy and happy.
